A light sand of the clean surface will open the fibres of the timber and allow for the product to penetrate effectively. This is best done with a sanding sponge for smaller surfaces or a sander machine for larger.
Ensure the surface is clean then apply two coats of our Specialty Undercoat before applying your top coats of paint.
