Preparation is key

With any project, preparation is key to ensure the success of your end product. We always recommend a light sand of any surface to remove and smoothen out the previous coating. Then comes the primer, we would always recommend priming a surface before painting to ensure it is an even colour, smooth base and helps with adhesion of the top applied coat.

Nice samples!!
I only used the sample pots on the test cards sent with them. I love the quality of the paint. But unfortunately the colour sample were not right for what I wanted. But when I am painted the interior one day I will check out the neutral colours then. Definitely a nice painted to apply and dry.

Beautiful colours and of course, no nasty toxic smells. I purchased these as my 5yo daughter requested unicorns be painted on her walls and i thought why not get 8 or 9 and use them sparingly as paints for her to use too. Love the rimu oil test pot it brought out the natural look with first coat. The paint goes on well after testing on sample swatch tried patch test as advertised no throat closing smell. Will be using for house overhaul!!

The quest for just the right white for my walls is over. Egyptian cotton has a lovely balance of warmth with soft stone tones. Hard to describe, and maybe no one else will notice the subtle shade, but I love it!

We needed to give our fence a bit of TLC and as I have read so much about the great properties of Natural Paint, I ordered trail pots different stain colours and tried it out how it would look on the previously black stained fence. I decided to go with the dark brown bark colour and we couldn’t be happier! The stain came out very even and nice clean looking. We had some patches that were fully bleached and some we had to spray a bit harder with the water blaster and you can’t tell the difference as the stain covers it all very well.

Loving it!

I completely love this oil ! I sanded off the shiny polyurethane from the cork tiles and used the Natural oil instead … they look stunning and feel so warm and lovely underfoot . I have used it throughout the house , on the matai floorboards , on cupboard doors, on plywood ,on the architrave around...I completely love this oil ! I have used it throughout the house , on the matai floorboards , on cupboard doors, on plywood ,on the architrave around my entrance door … its great to roll or brush on , no nasty odours , it enhances the wood leaving it with a soft hue , way more attractive than the synthetic based oils . Congrats to its creators !!
